We help injured workers pursue medical benefits, wage replacement, and disputed insurance payments while explaining Illinois claim rules, deadlines, and hearing options in plain language from the start.
For jobsite falls, equipment incidents, and contractor injuries, we identify workers' comp coverage, potential third-party claims, and liable companies beyond the immediate employer after a serious accident.
When benefits are delayed, denied, or underpaid, our team deals with insurers, gathers medical records, and pushes for the payments injured workers are legally owed.

We start with a no-cost consultation to understand your injury, job role, insurance situation, employer relationship, and immediate medical needs. You get clear guidance on possible workers' comp benefits and any third-party recovery options.

In Illinois, many employers in construction and contracting must carry workers' compensation coverage for employees, even when work is temporary or job based. Independent contractors, subcontractors, and owner-operators can face different rules depending on control, payroll, and contractual relationships. Marker Law helps injured workers understand coverage issues and pursue benefits when an insurer or employer disputes responsibility.
